We do everything possible to eliminate food waste, but when we can’t, we donate the rest.
We take mental health seriously. We work long hours Monday-Thursday so that our employees can take a three day mental break each and every week.
We stress gender and racial equality in our hiring and partnering practices, and look for ways to improve this all the time.
We have great relationships with our vendors, and believe in supporting small businesses. All our vetted suppliers avoid wasteful practices, are local to New England, and share our passion to protect its natural beauty. We keep our hiring practices local to boost Maine’s economic growth as well.
We use real plates, bowls, cutlery, or use compostable options. We don’t wrap goods in plastic for transport. We push our partners to seek alternative options, and if we do need a plastic item, we reuse it again and again.
Local suppliers means less trucking, and our guidelines result in less waste overall. We are mindful of our output, and consistently track our emissions, to reduce our impact on the earth.
To offset our tracked carbon emissions, we give away seeds at every event, and encourage our guests to take them home for planting. We also utilize composting for every event we host.
